| Please read the following submission guidelines before suggesting a listing. Any listing which violates ANY of the rules will be rejected. 1. Only submit complete websites. Websites which lack content, or are under construction will not be accepted as we consider them as low-quality sites. We would like to maintain the premium quality of our directory, thus sites under development would not be accepted. 2. Do not stuff the title field with keywords. We would like to keep our directory clean, so the titles should be clean as well! No very long titles, no "stuffed" titles, and no repetition of words in the title. Use your site's official name, and only up to two (2) additional keywords will be allowed. 3. Submit sites written in English, or sites with English translations. We promote internationalism. We would only list a site if it is written proficiently in English, or if it has a reliable English version/translation. 4. No gambling, illegal, pharmaceutical, adult, and other unlawful/harmful websites. Zigtur Premium Web Directory is work safe and family-friendly! This means that we would not accept websites that have racial discrimination pictures/text, hateful messages, and adult content. Gambling, illegal, and other unlawful materials are not accepted as well. 5. Do not submit to top-level categories, unless you're getting a featured listing. As we have stated, we would like to keep everything neat and organized so please don't submit to top-level categories unless you're buying a featured listing. Submit to the deepest, most relevant category as possible. 7. Submit to the most relevant category. As mentioned above, you must submit to the deepest, most relevant category. Otherwise, your submission will be automatically rejected. 8. Your site must NOT redirect to another URL. This means that you may not submit URLs from redirection services such as TinyURL. This also means that you may not submit affiliate links. 9. Sites which are not professionally designed will be rejected. We would like to maintain the quality of our directory, and that includes the content of OUR directory. If we present poorly designed websites to our visitors, then our reputation is damaged. 10. Sites with more than one (1) pop-up ad, five (5) on-page ad units, and really obtrusive ads will be rejected. We feel that quality listings should have an organized look and feel. We cannot tolerate websites with a lot of advertisements as they tend to disturb the visitors and make their browsing experience bad. 11. Slow-loading sites will be rejected. We believe that quality websites should have fast loading times. We cannot allow a certain site to eat up our visitors' time, so please, submit sites that have a considerable loading time. 12. Your descriptions must give adequate information about your website. Visitors would like to know what your site has to offer. Give enough details to ensure that everyone gets the right background about your site before they pay a visit. No one-liners -- descriptions should have a minimum of 250 characters. No university essays as well. Keep your descriptions' length at a maximum of 500 characters. 13. Your description should not be stuffed with keywords. The description should accurately describe your website. No keyword stuffing! 14. Your description should not be ALL CAPS. This suggests informality, so no descriptions that are ALL CAPS. Each word should not start with a capital letter -- please construct your sentences properly. 15. The payment for links serve as a review fee, not a "guaranteed inclusion" fee. This means that what you're paying is a fee for us to review your website. It is not a payment for getting a listing. Of course, featured listings cost more as your site will have the "priority status" in the review queue and will be given a better placement. Review fees are NOT refundable, so please only submit sites that are eligible for inclusion. 16. We reserve the right to edit the suggested links' titles and descriptions. Sometimes, we find that there are more appropriate titles and descriptions for the links that you suggested. Thus, we want you to be aware that there might be instances wherein your links' titles and descriptions will be changed by our editors. 17. We can only accept your payments via PayPal. As of now, the only payment processor we use is PayPal. We are really sorry if this has caused any inconvenience. |
